  • Are you facing difficulties or challenges that you either don't understand or that you feel powerless to do something about?

  • Are there specific internal issues that you can identify that you want to resolve, like anxiety, or depression, or problems in relationship - whether that's with others, or with yourself?

  • Do you find that you are self-critical, self-doubting, unable to respond to the events of your life with freedom, and instead trapped in patterns you cannot seem to overcome on your own?

  • Do you want to be free of such self-defeating patterns, and be the person you were put here on this earth to be?

Allowing yourself the resource of therapy equates to valuing yourself, but it’s a hard, oftentimes scary thing to do. It takes courage to reach out for help.

Let’s work together to achieve something good for you. I’ll take an active stance and be as real with you as I can, and I’ll invite you to do the same, so that together we can understand what is causing the difficulties you are facing, and best equip you to overcome them.

My approach revolves around a unique modality known as ISTDP (Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy) and is based on the understanding that the hurts we experience cause wounds within us, wounds which result in us having hidden, painful, thoughts and feelings that we are generally taught to avoid - which over time leads us to disconnect from our own internal experience. My belief is that this disconnection is what causes the problems we typically seek therapy for, and my hope is to explore with you whether there might be another way to deal with your problems, one that might leave you able to respond to what comes up in your life with a more adaptive, resilient, and compassionate sense of your own self.
